Like many youth organizations, New G relies on fundraisers to support many aspects of the group. The New Generation Singers do not charge membership dues. However there are many on-going expenses to keep the group functioning: insurance, music, sound and lights equipment, risers, piano, truck, copier, computer, etc. Also the group pays a good portion of each member’s expenses when they go on tour. This summer’s tour is going to Washington D.C.
Our trash bag sale is an ongoing fundraiser, but our food sales (spring and fall) bring in the most money, and we sell high-quality products produced by our hometown HyVee. We have been selling pizzas for over 47 years – in the early days, the pizzas were produced by hand, at the church, by Singers and parents.
We hope you as the public will continue to support the Singers in this major fundraiser so we don’t need to add other smaller events.
You can order products from any New G Singer and payment is not due until you pick up your food. Pick-up day is April 27th and – important – at a new location, Wyatt Park Baptist Church.
