The day started early, most due to the fact that lots of folks at the camp site where leaving really early for their day to start. So the kids, and sponsors where up and around really early as well. This was great, as most got up, and got ready, and then took down the Tent City you could see from the road. As we asked each of the singers how their night went, while Tent camping was not for all of them, it was a great experience they know they apprecaited learning. Most did great, and even said they slepted better than they did in the hotel.
From there we had a super pretty drive for the rest of the day on our way to Bonners Ferry. We had to stop back in Kalispell, MT to pick up the truck, and decided to bless the Chick-Fil-A with both busses, and they did great.
From there the group did a great job of taking a nap on the rest of the trip to our destination.
Speaking of destinations, this was the first time we have ever sang at Trinity Lutheran, but not our first time in a beautiful little town of Bonners Ferry, ID. Trinity was very welcoming, and you could tell they were excited to host us. We were very grateful for a very gracious meal after lots of fast food stops too. As for the performance, WOW. The singers left nothing, and did such a great job. We even lost power on our very last song, and the group would not be denied the opportunity to finish strong before we got the power back on. This was and will likely be one of the performances they speak of back home. It was great to see an alumni Shandra as well!!
