Fired Up at Turning Point Church of The Nazarene
It was a hot one this week, but the New G kids showed up early, worked hard, and proved just how efficient and dedicated they are — even in the heat. We kicked off the day at Turning Point Church of the Nazarene, and from the moment we walked in, we knew this would be a high-energy stop.
The welcome we received was incredible, and the atmosphere in the room had that unmistakable spark. And as always, the students responded — feeding off the energy of the congregation and pouring that excitement into every song, every word, every note. This group is really starting to hit its stride, and it showed.
Thank you, Turning Point, for your hospitality, joy, and powerful worship spirit. It was a blessing to sing with you and for you!

Tour Day 12 – Centenary UMC to Noonday Church
Some of you may know that in another life I spent 22 years in the Army. I know, I don’t look that old. For most of that time I was in Army Recruiting, and in recruiting, we have something called the magic GOV. A GOV is a “Government Owned Vehicle”. The reason it was...
Tour Day 11 – Orlando FL – Disney Day to Centenary UMC in Macon GA
We ended up going to Macon, GA by a complete accident. Bemo had one more stop left to book for tour, and he enlisted me to help him reach out to churches in the Tallahassee area. He took the Georgia side, and I took the Florida side. Bemo ended up finding some...
Tour Day 10 – DISNEY WORLD
Well friends, it’s the day after yesterday, which is when we went to Disney. I’m still tired, but I’m determined to knock out both posts today. Here’s what is important for you to know; the thing that was really on everyone’s mind yesterday: we all baked for 13 hours....
Tour Day 9 – Orlando FL St Lukes UMC to New Covenant UMC
I kind of wonder if it just came to Carol’s realization that we are in a major entertainment center and we really needed to put a little pizzazz on the show – well she did that. With just a touch of added choreography that sets off the reaction. Like putting pop...
Tour Day 8 – Panama City Beach to Orlando Florida
Hey Joe Town! I’m going to make this one kind of brief since I spent all my poetry on yesterday’s blog post. We drove in the busses from Panama City Beach to Orlando today. This is the second longest bus ride we’re going to have this year! AND…we’re over halfway...
Tour Day 7 – Crestview FL to Panama City Beach
Waves are funny things. They are one of the most visible representations of energy transformation that we have in nature. What winds up as novelties in which our teenagers splash and try to ride boogie boards on started as the deepest and most powerful exertions our...
