Some churches host New Generation Singers for a day. Ashland United Methodist Church has hosted us for generations. For well over 45 years, this church has been the home of New G, and that word “home” truly means something here. This is where we rehearse week after week, where our equipment is stored, where friendships are built, and where countless singers have prepared for the road before them.
On Sunday morning, we had the privilege of leading both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services. Performing at Ashland always feels different because we are not simply visiting a church—we are sharing music with a part of our church family. The familiar hallways, the familiar faces, and the memories that fill every corner of the building remind us how many lives have been impacted through this ministry over the years.
It was a wonderful morning of worship, celebration, and encouragement as our singers continued the start of another Summer Sing-out Day. We are deeply grateful for Ashland United Methodist Church and for decades of faithful support that have helped make New Generation Singers what it is today.
