New Faces, Familiar Love at Good Shepherd UMC – North Oak Campus
In the evening, we loaded up and headed down to Kansas City, performing for the very first time at the North Oak Campus of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. While this was a new space for us, it felt instantly familiarthanks to the many alumni families and friends who came out to support the group.
We always love our Kansas City stops — the mix of new faces and old connections creates such a unique energy. While we've performed at another Good Shepherd campus in the past, this was our first time with this congregation and pastor, and it was a joy to introduce New G and our message to a new church family.
Thank you, North Oak, for welcoming us so warmly and sharing in a night of worship, music, food, and community. We hope it’s the first of many visits to come!

You Gotta See This!

“I want to…”
"...be baptized." Pastor Jimmy was standing next to me after the New G program last night (June 30th), and a young man came to Pastor Jimmy and told him "I want to be baptized." Then Pastor Jimmy asked the boy to repeat his declaration to me. I think we were both...
Hey Alumni?! (Hey what?)
We've added a form so we can keep in touch with you, mainly about the upcoming 50th anniversary of New G. Just go to the Alumni tab in the main menu (above) and you'll see the form.
Uncommon Character story
I forgot to post this story that was done by the Convention and Visitor's bureau in their Uncommon Character series. It's a great article, posted on their website, that does a great job of telling our story. Click Here for the story.
Media Resources
In case you're looking for material to understand New G as well as promote an upcoming performance, you can find a "Media Resources" link under the Host Us link, or just click here!
Parent Info for new members and guests
Attached below is a document designed to answer a bunch of questions for the parents of new members or guests. It's a great way to find out about New G from the parent's perspective. If you have questions, there are phone numbers in the document to call or come to any...
