Tour Day 10 – DISNEY WORLD

Well friends, it’s the day after yesterday, which is when we went to Disney. I’m still tired, but I’m determined to knock out both posts today. Here’s what is important for you to know; the thing that was really on everyone’s mind yesterday: we all baked for 13 hours….

Tour Day 9 – Orlando FL St Lukes UMC to New Covenant UMC

I kind of wonder if it just came to Carol’s realization that we are in a major entertainment center and we really needed to put a little pizzazz on the show – well she did that.  With just a touch of added choreography that sets off the reaction.  Like putting pop…

Tour Day 8 – Panama City Beach to Orlando Florida

Hey Joe Town! I’m going to make this one kind of brief since I spent all my poetry on yesterday’s blog post. We drove in the busses from Panama City Beach to Orlando today.  This is the second longest bus ride we’re going to have this year! AND…we’re over halfway…

Tour Day 7 – Crestview FL to Panama City Beach

Waves are funny things. They are one of the most visible representations of energy transformation that we have in nature. What winds up as novelties in which our teenagers splash and try to ride boogie boards on started as the deepest and most powerful exertions our…

Tour Day 6 – Birmingham AL to Community of Christ Church

Real quick before I get started, you still have the opportunity to help the Salvation Army in Bowling Green, KY.  Just go to www.ngsingers.com click donate now and put Salvation Army AC in the reason.   Maybe I’m a bit of a sadist. I think it’s more that I’m just…

Tour Day 5 – Bowling Green KY – Birmingham AL

“I hope this letter finds you strong in the faith. I also hope that circumstances will soon make it possible for me to meet each of you, not as an integrationist or a civil-rights leader but as a fellow clergyman and a Christian brother. Let us all hope that the dark…

Tour Day 4 – Faith Southern Baptist to Salvation Army

Hey everybody!  The blog is immediately below this paragraph, but I wanted to start with a call to action for the Salvation Army in Bowling Green, KY. The A/C in this branch is out.  The Captains at that location are in the trenches every day trying to provide just a…

Tour Day 3 – Kings Way UMC to Faith Southern Baptist

The last few years of tour have felt a little off.  In one way or another they weren’t fully “tour”.  Don’t get me wrong, they were amazing and great in their own right, but they just were quite what they used to be.  How is it possible that we could still be talking…
