Hey Joe Town! I’m going to make this one kind of brief since I spent all my poetry on yesterday’s blog post.

We drove in the busses from Panama City Beach to Orlando today.  This is the second longest bus ride we’re going to have this year! AND…we’re over halfway today!  The amount of time you’ve been away from your kiddos, you now have less time to live it up a little while we’re gone. So, get that extra golf game in, leave the cucumbers on your eyelids a little longer this week, or whatever it is you do (I don’t judge), because it’s all you got.

We had tour worship tonight where we explored the parable of the lost sheep.  It was a great reminder that even though our singers are up on the risers reminding their audiences that have a God who will not leave them lost, they too are being pursued by God.

We had a little time crunch this afternoon, so we had to get worship in before we ate. Cailey said it best when she said that the hotel felt more like an airport with all the door dash drivers pulling up.  But everyone is fed, room checks complete, we sing tomorrow at St. Lukes UMC here in Orlando tomorrow morning. Great news, though – we’re in this hotel for three days, so the suitcases can spread a little.

Until then.

Joseph

You Gotta See This!

Thanks to the efforts of Dan Madinger (former sponsor and long-time truck driver), New G was selected to place a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns* during this year's tour. As you can imagine, this is a huge honor, especially since only one ceremony is performed each...

“I want to…”

"...be baptized." Pastor Jimmy was standing next to me after the New G program last night (June 30th), and a young man came to Pastor Jimmy and told him "I want to be baptized." Then Pastor Jimmy asked the boy to repeat his declaration to me. I think we were both...
