Royal Family Kids Camp
(Private Performance)
Virtually everyone involved with New G will tell you this is their favorite performance of the summer. The campers at Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC) are always so receptive of the Singers; and they deserve a good time.
Pictures are limited due to privacy and security, but in the second picture, you will see Ken Hamlin being introduced to the Singers by Byron. Ken and his wife Sandy have been coordinating the camp for 23 years – that’s amazing, And as Byron told everyone, no one has a heart bigger than Ken when it comes to this camp.
New G also has several current and past members that are now counselors at the camp. Kasey Curran, one of those alums related a story that one of the campers came up to her and asked “do you mean those singers drove HOURS and HOURS and HOURS just to see us?!?”. Well, maybe not hours, but we’ll be back.
And a plug for the camp, they are always looking for more counselors; in fact, two campers were not able to attend due to a shortage of counselors.
