Last night’s performance at Oregon United Methodist Church in Oregon, MO, was a great event, marking our return to this venue after what might be more than 30 years, according to some members. The anticipation and excitement were high as we prepared to sing in a church filled to capacity, with over 300 attendees. This performance was especially significant as it featured several singers from not only your community but also from within the church itself, creating a heartfelt connection with the audience.

The warmth and hospitality we received were amazing. Upon our arrival, the congregation welcomed us with open arms and provided an awesome supper, setting the stage for a night of music and fellowship. Even in the Green Room before the performance, you could feel the energy. As we performed each song, the energy in the room was incredible, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere that was felt by both the audience and the singers. The congregation’s enthusiastic response was incredibly encouraging, and you could see the positive impact it had on the performers, enhancing their confidence and joy.

It was amazing to see familiar faces alongside new ones, adding to the joy and significance of the evening. The blend of old friends and new acquaintances highlighted the strong sense of community and continuity within the church.
